Plastic looks like new again
Renovation coating
If plastic and aluminum discolour due to exposure to the sun, this is usually the result of UV radiation. This UV radiation can change the chemical structure of the plastic and powder-coated aluminum and lead to calcification, discoloration, fading or yellowing. Although it is difficult to completely reverse the discoloration, there are some steps you can take to improve the appearance of the discolored plastic:
Cleaning: Start by cleaning the discolored plastic to remove dirt, dust and other surface contaminants. Use a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse the plastic thoroughly with water and dry it well.
Restore and protect with our renovation coating. This specially developed coating repairs the surfaces and protects against further UV damage. This coating helps to restore the original color and shine of the plastic or aluminum. Apply the plastic renewer with a sponge or cloth and rub it evenly over the surface.
Preventive measures: To prevent further discoloration, it is advisable to protect the plastic from direct sunlight and UV radiation. This can be done by our special plastic coatings such as plastic coating. This coating helps protect the plastic from the harmful effects of the sun.
It is important to note that the effectiveness of these steps may vary depending on the severity of the discoloration and the type of plastic being treated. It's always a good idea to talk to us and test any cleaning or repair products on a small, inconspicuous area first before using them on the entire surface.
